1Gjøvik University College (GUC) offers studies within the subject areas health and social work, technology, economics and business administration, information technology and media together with a wide range of further training/studies. Several of these studies are unique and are only offered at GUC. 

There are about 2700 students at GUC. You will find lecture room, library, computer rooms, reading room, cantine, book store and more at campus, it contains everything you need as a student. Gjøvik University college is a Norwegian university college with an international perspective. 25 countries are represented among our staff the Autumn 2010. GUC was established as a result of the reorganisation of Norwegian higher education in 1994.

South East European University in Tetovo (SEEU)

3South East European University in Tetovo (SEEU) offers academic programs within business and economics, contemporary science and technologies, languages, cultures and communication, law, public administration and political sciences.

SEEU operates its academic activities from two teaching establishments, the main campus in Tetovo and its newly established campus in the capital city, Skopje. The main campus of SEEU is built upon the principle – all in one, which enables interactive comprehensiveness between students in all study disciplines. The campus is a model university facility in that it stretches across a large green area and contains purpose-built accommodations. These include: four large lecture halls with the capacity to fit 200 to 500 students, approximately 30 classrooms with a capacity for 30 to 60 students, staff offices, two state-of-the-art computer centers with more than 650 computers, a library and residen¬tial accommodations. In addition, there are sev¬eral recreational facilities where students can add social activities to their academic experience at SEEU. The equipment for teaching is modern, practical and enables optimal services for application and interactive learning.

STIKK - Kosovo Association for Information and Communication Technology

8The Kosovo Association of Information and Communication Technology (STIKK) will play a central role in stimulating dynamic growth of the ICT sector across Kosovo by opening up new opportunities and increasing the overall competitiveness of the sector.

STIKK will help create a better ICT business environment by improving standards and educational opportunities, and advocating with the government on behalf of its members to ensure that the sector will attract new business and investment. STIKK is representing 65 ICT companies / organizations in Kosovo.

AITA- Albanian Information Technology Association

7The Albanian Information of Technology Association was established in 2007 as an initiative of Albanian enterprises working in the IT field. AITA is representing 42 ICT companies / organizations / universities in Albania.

The objectives of the organization are:

  • To address the needs of the sector and transform the association into the most important representative of the Albanian IT sector;
  • To be a strong voice of the sector towards the government ;
  • To recognize and identify weaknesses / barriers;
  • To develop and strengthen the IT industry in the country;
  • To promote the IT sector in the country;
  • To develop the export services in the IT sector;
  • To become the leader in promoting professional and quality services in the country;
  • To make partnerships with other associations ;
  • To promote education and improve school and university curricula in the IT field.

Athene Prosjektledelse

9Athene is involved in small scale and larger projects, both nationally and internationally. We work within the fields development of innovation centres, communication, tourism, design, strategic development and regional– and business development. We staff your project with our broad expertise, experience and networks. Athene’s dedicated project managers see the customer’s challenges as new opportunities.

Athene is establishing Innovation Centre Kosovo together with STIKK and with representatives from STIKK and Crimson Capital as local Board Members. Athene has also launched Wominnovation (www.wominnovation.org), a business network for women and innovation in Kosovo, as a part of Innovation Centre Kosovo. STIKK is one of the local partners and Crimson is also one of the contributors to Wominnovation.
